PF Calculator
Provident fund contributions are a fixed percentage of Basic + DA, but three details decide the actual figures: whether contributions are capped at the wage ceiling, how the employer share splits between the pension scheme and EPF, and whether admin charges are counted as employer cost.

Formula
Employee = employee_rate% × PF wage
Employer EPS = eps_rate% × min(PF wage, EPS ceiling)
Employer EPF = employer_rate% × PF wage − Employer EPS
Admin charges = admin_rate% × PF wage (employer overhead)
EDLI = edli_rate% × min(PF wage, ceiling) (employer overhead)
PF wage = Basic + DA + retaining allowance, capped at the ceiling
unless contributions above it are elected.BRL-10 · Code on Social Security, 2020 · rates effective 17 Sep 2026 · content version 9f9f7840
Assumptions
- Wage ceiling of ₹25000 per month, and a separate pension-scheme ceiling of ₹25000.
- The PF wage is Basic + DA + retaining allowance. HRA and other allowances are excluded — if your payroll includes them, the figures here will be lower than your actual deduction.
- Admin charges and EDLI are employer overheads and are not credited to the member’s account, so they are shown separately from the total credited.
- Rounding follows the platform’s money rules (DPR-6): half-up to the nearest rupee at display, two decimals in between.
- International workers, exempted establishments and higher-pension elections are not modelled.
